Queens Of The Stone Age To Perform At The Grammy Awards

Alongside Nine Inch Nails, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham

The Grammy awards traditionally ends with an epic, all star performance.

2014 proves to be no exception, with organisers lining up a jam session soaked in musical history. Queens Of The Stone Age are set to take the lead, following the release of new album '…Like Clockwork'.

Josh Homme & Co. will be joined by industrial godheads Nine Inch Nails and Foo Fighters lynchpin Dave Grohl.

Finally, Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckinham will also be joining the performance. So that's Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails and Queens Of The Stone Age on one stage – not bad going…

The Grammy awards takes place on January 26th, with 4Music set to broadcast the ceremony in the UK at 9pm on January 27th.

Elsewhere, Josh Homme has revealed that Queens Of The Stone Age are already preparing their next album. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Josh Homme explained that the band have "more than enough songs" for a new LP.

"Absolutely" he explained. "We have more than enough songs. We're booked 'til September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going."
