Queen / Paul Rodgers Album Due

First Material From Collaboration

Queen and Paul Rodgers are set to unveil their first original material together when "The Cosmos Rocks" becomes available on September 15th.

The album will be the first by Queen since 1995's "Made In Heaven" - released four years after the death of original frontman and superstar Freddie Mercury. The fourteen songs on "The Cosmos Rocks" were written and recorded by original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, who were joined by former Free and Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers.

Original Queen bassist John Deacon did not contribute, however both he and Mercury were given credits in the sleevenotes.

Formed in 1968, Queen supported Jimi Hendrix and Genesis early in their career, before going on to become one of the world's biggest rock groups. Their anthem "Bohemian Rhapsody" was a masterpiece in production, and remains a rock radio staple.

Queen + Paul Rodgers release "The Cosmos Rocks" on September 15th.
