Marking their richly deserved return, Pulled Apart By Horses recently confirmed the existence of new album 'Blood'.
Out on September 1st, the Leeds based post-hardcore troupe have dreamed up all manner of inventive ways to engage fans in the run up to the release.
First up: their own pale ale. Distilled from their very own blood (well, the peel of blood oranges), the beer was crafted in collaboration with West Yorkshire Revolutions Brewery.
Guitarist James Brown explains: "The idea of people drinking our 'Blood' (not literally) is so exciting for us! It's the kind of thing you talk about a lot but never usually happens, so because this has become a reality we really want to celebrate it!"
The beer will be launched at Leeds' Brudenell Club on August 29th, alongside an acoustic set from the band themselves. Entry is via competition only, with fans encouraged to post a photo on Twitter and Instagram of them enjoying their favourite drink with the hashtag #PABHsBlood.
Entry is strictly 18+. Check out an acoustic video below.
