Vodaphone Awards Round Up

Scots rockers Primal Scream cleaned up last night at the Vodaphone Live Music Awards last night (September 18th), winning Best Live Act as well as an Outstanding Contribution To Live Music Award.

The Scots dance rock legends closed the award show at London's Brixton Academy with a storming three song set which consisted of recent single "Can't Go Back", bluesy classic "Rocks" and the title track of recent album "Beautiful Future".

Other stars on the night were The Ting Tings and Glasvegas, who won one award each and both played short sets. In the Best Live Comeback category The Verve and Led Zeppelin both lost out to reformed girl group The Spice Girls.

Current Clash Magazine cover stars Kings Of Leon also picked up a gong, winning Best International Live Act. A full line up of winners is as follows:
