Premiere: Werkha Airs His New Single

Check out 'Dusk' / 'Falling Through The Wall'

Manchester's Werkha enjoyed a stellar 2014, with his 'Beacons' EP earning the support of everyone from Rob da Bank to Gilles Peterson.

Rhythmically supple and softly emotional, the producer is set to return with new material shortly. Upcoming single 'Dusk' features Bryony Jarman-Pinto on guest vocals, with 'Falling Through The Wall' taking things deeper on the flip.

Out on May 11th via Tru Thoughts, the two track release seems to show different sides to Werkha's output. 'Dusk' has a soulful feel, with the strolling bassline set against a loose-limbed, jazz-tinged arrangement.

'Fall Through The Wall' is inspired by the LA beat scene, by the abstract suggestions of the Low End Theory posse. Dynamic and engaging, it's found a rightful home on Brighton's lovably eclectic Tru Thoughts imprint.
