Flamboyant 70s style glam...
The Moons

Glam often gets a bad rep.

After all, away from the novelty schlock this was a scene which birthed Bolan and Bowie, allowing a newfound flamboyance to enter pop music.

It's this period which fuels The Moons latest single. A stirring return from the group, 'Heart And Soul' is a preening T Rex style stomp with plenty of wit and imagination.

A rock 'n' roll anthem, it traces the raw, edgy side of glam, one that grew up amidst enormous economic and political dissent in the UK - kinda like now, you might say.

Frontman Andy Crofts explains: "'Heart And Soul' is about a girl, a temptress who pulls you in with her looks and spits you out. A girl who reaches into your heart and soul and takes all the good out of you and then moves on to her next victim."

Out on March 31st, you can tune into 'Heart And Soul' on Clash now.

The Moons will release new album 'Mindwave' on July 21st. Tour dates:

25 Hull Fruit
26 York Duchess
28 Stockton Georgian Theatre
29 Dundee Buskers

3 Nottingham Bodega Social
4 Leicester Soundhouse
5 Bristol The Lanes
