From new 'Sugar' EP...

She's back.

Pawws - real name Lucy Taylor - introduced her pop vision with last year's debut single, a lush mixture of sweet sonics and neat pop hooks.

Taking her time, Pawws worked through each idea, her perfectionist streak eliminating all but the finest inclinations. Working with Best Fit Records, the rising popster is ready to release new EP 'Sugar' on June 16th.

It's a potent document, one which ranks as a wonderful step forward from the London based artist. Ahead of this, Clash is delighted to be able to unveil a fresh preview...

Stripped from the new EP, 'Give You Love' is a true statement of intent. Those gleaming, retro-futuristic synths give way to Taylor's half-sung, half-sighed vocals which veer towards the romantic - "say my name, I'll make you right" indeed.

As direct, infectious and giddy a pop song as you are likely to hear this summer, check out 'Give You Love' below.

'Sugar' is set to be released on June 16th.
