Premiere: nick nicely – ‘London South’ (Grasscut Remix)

Deliciously English psychedelic lullaby...

nick nicely signalled his re-emergence last year, with the cult songwriter releasing new album 'Space Of A Second'.

Out now via Lo Recordings, the record was the work of a true one off, a profoundly imaginative and deeply English talent keen to play the game by his own rules.

'London South' is the final single to be taken from the album, and it comes equipped with a handful of newly commissioned remixes.

Fellow Lo cohorts Grasscut step in to re-work the track, delivering a psychedelic lullaby. nick nicely's voice seems to float in a liminal, weightless fashion, akin to Robert Wyatt's early solo work.

Spectral harmonies float past, while the tinkling bells add wonderful colour to the arrangement. Check it out now.

'Space Of A Second' is out now on Lo Recordings.
