2014 was a busy year for Mr Fogg.
The songwriter worked behind the scenes on Thom Yorke's BitTorrent release, before collaborating with BAFTA nominated composer Micachu.
It was also a dramatic year. Mr Fogg found time to reflect on the death of his father in 2012, the manner in which this has impacted upon his life.
Fuelling new material, the songwriter is set to channel the results of these sessions on third album 'Youth'. Due for release this Spring, the material will be unveiled as a multimedia performance every night for five nights at the Brighton Festival Fringe (May 6th-10th).
Ahead of this, Clash is able to unveil new track 'Time To Ascend'. Quietly joyous, the minialist, repetitive piano line is matched against an arrangement which contains nudging percussion and supple brass.
As ever, though, it's all about that voice: a confident, exploratory delivery, Mr Fogg again nails his incredibly emotive vocal. Check it out now.
