From their 'Part Time Punks Live' release...

No one really knows where or when the shoegaze sound was first born.

But Medicine have a decent claim to be amongst that first wave of guitar pedal abusing noiseniks. The Los Angeles trio were there at the start, matching dreamy, innocent melodies to all out amplified mayhem.

Returning after an eighteen year hiatus, Medicine released new album 'To the Happy Few' earlier this year. Before then, though, the reformed shoegaze outfit will be releasing something special in time for Record Store Day.

'Part Time Punks Live' captures the re-united group in full flow, recorded during a session for PTP. Containing eight tracks, it's a blur of old and new as Medicine prove themselves to be as vital as ever.

Out this Saturday (April 19th) Clash is able to premiere 'Something Goes Wrong'. A guitar assault akin to A Place To Bury Strangers, you can stream it below:
