Marble Mammoth are part of Sweden's labyrinthine psych scene, with each member having their own story to tell.
United as Marble Mammoth, the band have a hook-laden take on fuzzed out counter cultural ideals, using their guitars as weapons to smash open the unconscious mind.
With a new EP incoming the group are ready to share 'Wrecked Ship', and it's skull-smashing riff is tailor-made for cranium expansion.
Guitarist Tobias Bergholm tells Clash: "Marble Mammoth is in many ways defined by an endless search. So it only feels natural that the EP sound the way it does. The songs were written in a state of emotional turmoil, and it wasn't until afterward, with some distance, that I really understood what they were all about."
Brilliant fun, 'Wrecked Ship' feels like a pop-centric vision of Goat or a snazzy, sugar-sweet take on Hey Colossus - get involved below.
