'Journey Through The Asteroid Belt' gets re-worked...
The Comet Is Coming

Mercury nominated avant jazz troupe The Comet Is Coming tend to push ideas as far as they'll go - and then further still.

So providing a remix for the ensemble is a tough order. Rhythmically dexterous and sonically adventurous, the group tend to stand defiantly apart from the rest of the pack.

LV, though, haven't given up chasing just as yet. The South London outfit have re-worked 'Journey Through The Asteroid Belt', uniting several strands of dancefloor abstraction.

Sitting somewhere between Sun Ra and kwaito, the urgent space-funk that lies in the percussive kick is matched to belching sub-bass and hints of brass.

It's out shortly (order LINK) but you can tune in first on Clash.
