From singing in her local church to nationwide fame: it’s been a bit of a whirlwind past year for Northern Irish artist Leah McFall, as her second-place finish on series two of BBC 1’s The Voice propelled her into pop’s upper tiers of expectation.
‘Home’ is McFall’s first single proper, featuring – as one might expect – a guest turn from Voice judge and renowned owner of Very Silly Hair, will.i.am. ‘Home’ follows chart success for McFall with her cover of ‘I Will Survive’, which went top 10 in the summer of 2013. She’s just recently been supporting Jessie J on the number one artist’s Forest Live series of shows.
Clash has the LuvBug remix of ‘Home’ premiering right here. S’alright, ain’t it? Got a nice late-1990s dance vibe to it – we can definitely flash back to nights lost in provincial clubs, jerking under disco lights to the sounds of ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’.
Get it into your ears, already.
‘Home’ is released on July 27th. Find McFall on this internet right here.
