Dutch trio end the year on a high...
Kraak and Smaak

2013 was the year in which house regained the mainstream.

Electronic music flooded the charts, and - in the process - all bets were off. MK notched up a number one single, while Dutch trio Kraak And Smaak were able to take their debut album across the globe.

Ending the year with a flourish, the trio played a standout show at ADE in their native Netherlands before inviting fellow Dutch producer Moods to re-work one of the highlights from their 'Chrome Waves' full length.

'Don't Let People' is blissful house euphoria from the off, with Kraak and Smaak adding a neat nu-disco shuffle. In Moods' hands, this coy, playful nature is only accentuated with his take on 'Don't Let The People' adding some tricks and flicks to the percussion.

Bathed in light, the hazy, gauze-like take on 'Don't Let People' is the perfect Balearic tonic for these cold winter nights.

Listen to it now.

'Chrome Waves' is out now.
