South London singer FEMME has handed a new remix of her 'Double Trouble' single to Clash – listen to it below.

The conversation between the electronic underground and the mainstream is providing a fluid area for young artists to forge their own identity. Recently working with Nigel Godrich on the Ultraista project, South London newcomer FEMME is one such performer.

Coming of age at a time when the lines between underground / commercial are becoming increasingly blurred, the rising singer / producer is turning this state of flux to her own advantage.

Early cut 'Daydreamer' has already gained enormous exposure, with Stella McCartney choosing the song for her latest campaign. New single 'Educated' / 'Double Trouble' drops via TAPE on July 22nd, and to celebrate Clash are able to premiere a brand new remix.

Recently signed to Something In Construction, FTSE has a light, deft touch in common with the more propulsive end of the house spectrum.

Stepping in to remix 'Double Trouble' the producer adds a sense of light and shade, smoothing out the dynamics for a piece of summer sunshine.

'Educated' / 'Double Trouble' is set to be released on July 22nd.
