Premiere: Ezra Furman – Tell ‘Em All To Go To Hell

Lurid rockabilly...

Erza Furman is gearing up to release his new album – check out a preview on Clash.

Rockabilly is the sound which just won't die. Souped up country 'n' western with a rock 'n' roll twist, each generation seems to put its own twist on the template. Ezra Furman & the Harpoons specialised in dirty, sleazy, gritty rockabilly – the sort of thing timid sorts cross the road to avoid.

Now solo, Erza Furman is gearing up to release new album 'Day Of the Dog'. Set to be released on October 8th, the material was laid down at Studio Ballistico in Chicago.

All squelching saxophone, wailing vocals, and razor-blade guitars, it's an adrenalin-pumping, pompadour-combing slash into the carcass of rockabilly.

New track 'Tell 'Em All To Go To Hell' is streaming on Clash now, and it's a fevered, throat curdling cry from start to (belated) finish.
