Cults are back.
After a short break, new album 'Static' arrived during the tail end of 2013 matching the band's undeniable energy to a new sense of focus.
Live, Cults were a phenomenon – all edge, venom and style, Brian Oblivion and Madeline Follin seemed to have gained a real sense of passion, of energy.
With the wind clearly in their sails, Cults hooked up with United Records. A pressing plant who piece together their own sessions, the duo shot a clip earlier this year which essentially showcased their live show.
Given a vinyl pressing in time for Record Store Day, Clash is able to bring you a lovely preview ahead of the Easter break.
'High Road' is a highlight from the band's second album, here given a bloodcurdling rendition as part of their Upstairs At United session.
Check it out now.
