If the recent campaign against the HS2 plans in North London prove anything, it's that Camden remains an area close to people's hearts.
It's winding streets, huge markets and multitude of venues have long made it a hub for new music, even if it's been pushed aside by some noisy neighbours in East London.
Returning this Spring, the Camden Crawl aims to give the area renewed focus. Running across various venues between June 20th and 21st, the event flits between electronic and indie, acoustic songcraft and hip hop.
It's a heady mix. Almost too big to take in at one time, organisers have built a handy playlist for Clash - specifically tailored to the needs of our readers.
Opening with cult Montreal songsmith Sean Nicholas Savage, the playlist also contains psychedelic voyagers The Wolf People. Elsewhere, experimental pop types CYMBALS make an appearance, while tracks from Thumpers, Max Marshall, Modeselektor and more make an appearance.
Typically diverse, it's packed with new talent while the odd established names also pop up in various guises. Time to re-discover your Camden love affair, then...
