Premiere: Argy & Mama – ‘Deep Found Vibe’ (Kele Remix)

Deep house inspired re-work...

Argy & Mama is a project which unites two worlds.

Argy is perhaps best known for his techno work, with releases emerging via the likes of Desolat and German powerhouse BPitch. Mama, meanwhile, is an East London vocalist, someone indebted to the more soulful side.

Working together, the two have hit upon something deep. Gorgeous house sounds abound, with the percussive edge borrowing from the bounce of prime 2-step.

Debut album ‘Dominonation’ is due out on January 19th via BPitch, but ahead of this Argy & Mama plan to release a new remix EP in February.

Featuring a re-work from Hot Since 82, the EP also features Bloc Party singer Kele Okereke in his solo producer guise. Kele contributes a deep re-working of ‘Deep Found Vibe’, rinsing the textures and retaining that jacking rhythm.
