Premiere: Archive Oasis Interview

Shot for 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' back in 1996...

At some point during the summer of 1996 Oasis were transformed from a national success into an international phenomenon.

The record breaking sales of 'Definitely Maybe' were followed by the bona fide event which was '(What's The Story) Morning Glory'.

In its wake, five young men from Manchester were dragged along, adoring the limelight yet struggling to adapt to the demands being placed on them.

'(What's The Story) Morning Glory' will be re-issued on September 29th, with a re-mastered version of the original album set to be placed alongside a number of extras.

Oasis took part in an extensive interview with 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' in 1996, and now the full version is set to see the light of day.

It's a curiously insightful vignette. Caught in the flashlights of fame, Noel Gallagher reflects on the band's meteoric rise in his own inimitable style.
