Portishead Name Third Single

Reformed Bristol sonic alchemists Portishead have named the third single to be take form their comeback album, with 'Magic Doors' due for release on December 15th.

Portishead have enjoyed a stunning year. Since reforming last year for a very special live performance the band have stunned fans with a new album and some very special tour dates. Comeback album 'Third' was released to unanimous acclaim by critics and fans, hwo reveled in the band's ability to recall former glories whilst also looking to break new ground.

New single 'Magic Doors' will be available on twelve inch vinyl and as a download. As with previous singles from 'Third', the twelve inch vinyl version will be one-sided, the flipside being etched with an unusual design.

The band have not announced any plans for the new year as yet, with member Geoff Barrow's new art gallery the only new Portishead development to speak of.

Portishead are set to release their new album 'Magic Doors' on December 15th.
