Playlist: Ben Pearce Previews The Social

It's a diverse summer selection...
Ben Pearce

Founded by Nic Fanciulli, The Social matches an informal atmosphere with a knack for plucking big names out of the air.

Returning this summer in Mote Park, Maidstone, the festival will boast performances from the likes of (deep breath) Seth Troxler, Dixon, Âme, Guy Gerber, Nina Kraviz, tINI, Art Department, Ben Pearce, Craig Richards, Subb-an, Mark Fanciulli, Route 94 and more.

It's a diverse selection, with the bill spilling across arenas, tents and more. Hell, the VIP area boasts exclusive sets from Gorgon City, Shadow Child and SecondCity.

As ever, Nic Fanciulli will play a high profile slot while turntable master Carl Cox is also due to dominate Mote Park on September 13th.

Tickets are on sale now, with Ben Pearce piecing together a playlist of his latest favourites ahead of his set. It's a diverse selection, shuffling between bass textures and UK house, avant indie and synth pop.

Demonstrating the diversity of his current set, you can check out the Ben Pearce playlist below.

Caribou - Can't Do Without You
SO excited about this album, of course it's fantastic. It's Caribou.

Floating Points - Montparnasse
He's back, I've loved every single F-Points record and this one is no exception, outstanding.

Kelis - Friday Fish Fry (Maribou State & Pedestrian Remix)
Top lads doing what they do best, treating Kelis the way only they do.

Ten Ven - 1 Bad Bitch
This one has been going in huge in my sets, it'll no doubt be a massive track.

Artifact - How Did You Change
Another long overdue return, been playing this for a while and coming out on Huxley's label, I've got a lot of love for this.

Citizen - Naomi
Citizen on top fire as you'd expect, addicted to this at the moment.

Wild Beasts - Sweet Spot
One of my album's of the year, listen to it regularly when travelling and can't wait to see them live.

Dark Sky - IYP
Pure bass synth jam and seriously addictive. Probably one of my favourite tunes to play out at the moment.

Dusky - Inta
What else to say but new Dusky! Their own label this time, massive.

Henry Krinkle - Stay (Justin Martin Remix)
I've found myself singing this (badly) loads over the last couple of days, intriguing and well balanced, summer in a nutshell.
