London festival draws to an end...

One of London's most high profile one day events, Field Day opted to double in size for its 2014 instalment.

It's a gamble which seems to have paid off. Shrugging off doubts over the weather, fans arrived on Saturday (June 7th) amid glorious sunshine.

Thurston Moore made a seismic appearance at the Crack tent, before Jackmaster and Oneman unveiled their new Can U Dance set in the Bugged Out arena.

SOHN's performance got tongues wagging, while Jessy Lanza was on imperious form at the Red Bull Music Academy tent.

Metronomy brought proceedings on Day One to a close, playing a special set for their first ever headline festival performance.

Magically, the weather improved even further on Sunday (June 8th) with Pond and Temples playing on the Main Stage amidst blazing sunshine.

Future Islands' performance at the Shacklewell Arms tent was roadblocked, with a lengthy trail of fans extending far beyond the arena.

Pixies brought the festival to a close, marking one of their sole London appearances in 2014. Ending with 'Where Is My Mind?' the group's greatest hits style performance allowed fans to wind down amidst the slow slog back to Monday.
