French band plan more shows

French retro-pop outfit Phoenix have added more live dates for later in the year, and are now set to play Birmingham and Bristol, as well as their previously announced London show this October.
Hailing from Versailles, France, Phoenix have gone from being the backing band in Air's 'Kelly Watch The Stars' video to crafting a succession of cult albums, more recently hitting their stride with their fourth album.
The four-piece last month returned with Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Produced by French house maestro and Cassius member Zdar, the band's fourth LP has seen them produce their boldest sounding album so far (listen to lead single '1901' on Clash Music HERE).
Phoenix recently cancelled a planned show for London, after the band's singer Thoms Mars contracted a throat virus. However, the group will now return to play an upsized venue when they hit the Brixton Academy.
