Pete Doherty Paris Show

Pete Doherty has announced a very special solo show at the Paris La Maroquinerie in the French capital on Friday night (November 28th).

Doherty has a long association with Paris. Drawn by its artistic history, its liberal environment and cheap rail fares the initial Libertines crew used to hop through for weekends, playing surprise gigs in the city's clubs.

Now in Babyshambles, and working on his first solo album, Doherty has chosen to renew his love affair with the city of romance. The singer is apparently in Paris putting the finishing touches to the artwork for his afore-mentioned solo album, which has been produced by long-term cohort Stephen Street.

Doherty has been busy of late, playing a series of surprise shows at parties around London. The Babyshambles singer has also been collaborating with some of his heroes, uploading videos of jamming sessions with Lee Mavers and Graham Coxon amongst others. Coxon is rumored to guest on the singer's new album.
