Returning indie star Pete Doherty has made a track from his new album available to download.

As one half of the songwriting partnership that drove The Libertines, Pete Doherty revolutionised British guitar music spawning a generation of bands influenced by his wide eyed romanticism.

Later forming Babyshambles, Pete Doherty has decided the time is right to strike out on his own. Using his full name 'Peter Doherty' recorded the forthcoming album with Stephen Street at the controls, while Blur guitarist Graham Coxon also dropped by.

The resulting recording 'Grace/Wastelands' is a surprising mixtures of folk and indie, and is one of Doherty's most intimate recordings to date.
