Pete Doherty Christmas Shows
With Chas And Dave...
Pete Doherty is to re-visit the site of one of his most celebrated Libertines shows when he joins Cockney duo Chas & Dave for a special Christmas show on December 20th.
The Babyshambles frontman has been playing numerous solo shows recently, ahead of the release of his solo album in early 2009. The singer has long admired Chas & Dave, speaking highly of them in interviews.
The gig will take place in the Tap 'N' Tin venue, made famous by The Libertines after the band played a re-union gig there. Doherty had been released from prison only the day before, for breaking into bandmate Carl Barat's flat.
After the show Doherty will travel to The Rhythm Factory to perform another gig. Coincidentally, The Rhythm Factory is another old Libertines haunt.
Pete Doherty will play the following show with Chas & Dave:
December 20th - Tap 'N' Tin, Kent

Yeah, even though Pete
Yeah, even though Pete Doherty lives in Malborough, chances are he'll never gig there.
CURSE BRISTOL, SWINDON AND OXFORD.
Did the Christmas gig ever
Did the Christmas gig ever happen and if so was it recorded by anyone? I only just started to get into the libertines, it’s a shame that Pete lost himself to drugs. But I hear he managed to get himself fixed in a drug rehabilitation. Also there might be a new album on the way!
