Pet Shop Boys To Play London

Electro pop duo Pet Shop Boys are to play a one-off gig with Little Boots in July at the intimate Matter Venue in London.

The exclusive show will see organisers take an alternative route, with fans urged to vote on various areas such as what music the DJ's should play, what drinks should be served and feedback for the warm-up boat party. Those who provide the best ideas via the event Facebook page will then be selected to win tickets.

Having recently picked up the 'Outstanding Contribution To Music' award at this year's Brit Awards, The Pet Shop Boys went on to release new album 'Yes' in March.

The influential duo will be joined by a host of fans for the show, with much-hyped electro-pop newcomer Little Boots set to perform, as well as Hot Chip and Tom Middleton playing DJ slots (read an interview with Hot Chip HERE on Clash Music).

Speaking of the alternative system for ticket allocation, Little Boots aka Victoria Hesketh added:

"It's great that everyone there on the night has been involved in what takes place. I'm a big fan of the Pet Shop Boys and really happy to be on a bill with Joe (Goddard) from Hot Chip as he produced some tracks on my upcoming album, including my first ever single. It should be a really fun night."
