'Pandemonium' shows expanded

Synth pop icons Pet Shop Boys have added more dates to their upcoming 'Pandemonium' tour.

Pet Shop Boys are easing gently into a mature era. The synth pop duo were awarded the 'Outstanding Contribution Award' at last year's BRITs sparking a year of celebration for the group.

Releasing their new album 'Yes' the band took off on an extensive world tour. Pet Shop Boys designed a lavish set, blending exciting new material with a few spectacular hits from their golden run of singles.

Following this with the live DVD 'Pandemonium' the duo have decided to hit the road again. This time pushing the limits on what they can achieve onstage, Pet Shop Boys have added lavish new elements to the show.

Perhaps the definitive live Pet Shop Boys experience, the new shows were designed by Es Devlin, who worked on their stunning performance at the BRITs in 2009. Choreography was handled by Lynne Page, with the scale and complexity of the shows increasing from their sold out run last year.

A multi-media performance including an incredible, evolving cubist stage set, amazing projections, stunning choreography and dancers the 'Pandemonium' show is an all out assault on the senses.

Opening in Blackpool on July 13th Pet Shops Boys are to play a host of venues untouched by last year's tour. Taking them across the country, tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday (February 19th).

Pet Shop Boys have confirmed the following show:

13 Blackpool Empress Ballroom
19 Brighton Centre
20 Bournemouth International Centre
21 Cardiff International Arena
23 Newcastle Arena
