Perfect Pussy x Joanna Gruesome To Share Split Seven Inch

Alongside a 24 page comic book...

Twin forces in whatever you plan to label the current crop of underground rock groups, Perfect Pussy and Joanna Gruesome recently played a full UK tour together.

Clearly, the bonds between the bands run deep, with the groups plotting a new split seven inch single.

A four track affair, Perfect Pussy have opted to cover The Sugarcubes' 'Leash Called Love' as well as contributing new cut 'Adult World'. Joanna Gruesome, meanwhile, have recorded new track 'Psykick Espionage' alongside a cover of '…And Keep Reaching for Those Stars' by the 90s emo band I Hate Myself.

As if that wasn't enough, the single comes packaged with a 24 page comic book illustrated by Phil McAndrew – the brother of Perfect Pussy guitarist Ray McAndrew. The comic focusses on a character which fuses Joanna Gruesome front woman Alanna McArdle and Meredith Graves of Perfect Pussy, crafting a character who "battles misogynists, online trolls and haters everywhere."
