Pearl Jam Release Album Via Mobile
'Ten' re-issue due
Grunge legends Pearl Jam have announced that they will begin their re-issue program by making their seminal 1991 album 'Ten' available via Verizon Wireless.
Led by Eddie Vedder, the alternative rock group were one of the defining American groups of the 90s. Through innovative videos and their refusal to play the corporate game, Pearl Jam outlasted the grunge boom to become one of the most respected groups of the decade.
Their debut album 'Ten' is now set to be re-issued as part of an anniversary program. The remastered tracks can be purchased as ringtones, ringbacks and ringback jukeboxes, according to US magazine Billboard. Amongst the album tracks lurk unreleased rarities such as 'Once' and 'Why Go' as well as the legendary video for the single 'Jeremy'.
The downloads will be staggered, with a different song becoming available each week to Verizon customers.
Pearl Jam re-issue 'Ten' in the United States on March 24th.
