Pearl Jam have confirmed plans for two UK shows as part of wider European tour.
With a grunge revival (sort of) getting of the ground in certain quarters of East London, perhaps it was apt that Pearl Jam returned with one of their finest albums in a decade.
Released earlier this year, 'Lightning Bolt' debuted at number two in the charts with Clash reviewer Cai Trefor writing that "the strength of Vedder’s hard-hitting vocals shows that he’s sounding as strong as he did when the band emerged into rock superstardom in the early 1990s."
Announcing a full scale European tour, Pearl Jam have included two UK shows in their itinerary. Hitting Leeds Arena on July 8th, the tour then hits the enormous Milton Keynes Bowl on July 11th.
Tickets go on sale at 9am next Friday (December 20th) priced at £55 in Leeds and £65 for Milton Keynes. A pre-sale for members of current Pearl Jam Ten Club members also begins today.
Pearl Jam are set to play the following shows:
8 Leeds Arena
11 Milton Keynes Bowl
The new issue of Clash magazine is out right now. It's always on the money with breakthrough acts worth listening to. So, go and see.
