Tickets for Sir Paul McCartney's upcoming British shows went on sale at 9am this morning (October 13th).

An evergreen live attraction, Sir Paul McCartney returned to touring duties last year. In that time, he ha entertained countless thousands of fans, got married (for the third time) and completed his first ballet.

Not bad going for a man in his late 60s...

Announcing his new European tour, Sir Paul McCartney intends to take the 'On The Run' show back home. Amongst the upcoming dates are rare live shows in Russia, France, German, Sweden and more. Hitting the UK, Sir Paul McCartney has confirmed plans to play a trio of concerts including a hometown date in Liverpool.

Forever proud of his roots, the singer will bring down the curtain on a memorable year in his life with a visit to the Mersey. Taking place on December 20th at the city's Echo Arena venue, tickets for all upcoming shows went on sale at 9am this morning (October 13th).

Looking ahead to the tour, Sir Paul McCartney was typically enthusiastic. “Playing live is one of the most exciting parts of my job. I'm really looking forward to the next run of shows and to playing places that I have never played before with my band."

"I'll be starting with my first ever U.A.E concert and from there I’m on the run across Europe and Russia, before finally getting back to my hometown of Liverpool in time for Christmas. My audiences seem to get better each year and the band and I love the buzz and feedback that they give us. I can't wait to see you all for some wild nights of rock n' roll and partying”.
