'Damaris' to be new release

Spectacular songwriter Patrick Wolf is set to finish the year in style after confirming details of his new single 'Damaris'.

Patrick Wolf is one of the most intriguing characters in British music. With his outlandish stage outfits and autobiographical material the singer has gathered a devoted cult following who hang on his every word.

Enlisting his fans to fund latest album 'The Bachelor' supporters were rewarded with one of Patrick Wolf's finest collections to date.

Touring widely, the performer is set to see out the year with a series of spectacular projects. Album highlight 'Damaris' is due to be released as a single, having been inspired by an attempt to trace his family tree.

An evocative slice of songwriting, the track is due for release on December 14th. Amongst the bonus tracks are 'Peacock Skies' - recorded live in the Californian desert - and a special acoustic version of 'Damaris'.

After a busy festival schedule and a North American tour Patrick Wolf is set to return for a special London show on November 15th. Performing with a string sextet and a choir, the Palladium show will feature material from throughout his career.

Support on the night will come from Micachu And The Shapes. Soon after this, Patrick Wolf is due to lecture at Oxford University. The singer is due to give a prestigious lecture and question and answer session for the Oxford Union, previous guests Include Michael Jackson and Stephen Hawking.
