Patrick Wolf Cape Plea

Singer loses stage outfit

Outlandish singer Patrick Wolf has issued an urgent plea to fans - for the return of his vulture style cape.

Patrick Wolf has been inescapable lately. After releasing his new album 'The Bachelor' the singer began touring the world, playing a number of sensational shows. Known for his incredible costumes and theatrical style, Wolf attracted attention for both the right and wrong reasons.

Critically acclaimed, 'The Bachelor' was followed by a tour of the United States. Playing San Francisco Patrick Wolf had an altercation with the police, after his antics onstage began to anger some in the audience.

Returning to Europe, the singer played a set at Cologne's C/O Pop festival. However organisers decided to cut his set short and earned an onstage tirade from Patrick Wolf.

Captured on camera, footage of the rant soon reached YouTube. Reached apoplectic levels of rage, Patrick Wolf throws his microphone to the ground and storms off.

Issuing a statement shortly after, Patrick Wolf explained his anger and took further umbrage with festival organisers.

Now it seems that the singer has lost a part of his stage costume. In a new MySpace message Patrick Wolf has asked for the return of an enormous vulture style cape.

Titled 'WANTED! Vulture Cape!' the message explains:

"Patrick’s cape sadly went missing over the festival season – it was last spotted at Underage Festival… Team Wolf are offering a cash reward for anyone who can locate it and get it back to us safely and in one piece. Please message us at the Myspace account if you have any information about the cape’s location."

"No jokes about it flying off, please ;)"
