Metronomy, Joy Orbison added
Metronomy are amongst the latest additions to the line up of this year's Oya Festival.
Held in Norway, Oya manages to bring together an unusual and inspiring line up each year. This summer will be no exception, with the likes of Bjork, The Stone Roses, The Black Keys and more set to perform.
Organisers have stepped in to confirm a host of new acts, with Metronomy set to perform at the Oslo event. The British group have been touring almost non-stop since the release of their Mercury nominated album 'The English Riviera' and their live show is moving forwards with each show.
Recently performing at Field Day, Metronomy's set is ideally suited for the festival season. Planning to travel out to Norway, the band will be joined fellow Brit types Lightships - led by Teenage Fanclub's Gerard Love.
Elsewhere, American newcomer Willis Earl Beal is set to appear at Oya while other additions include Best Coast, Chromatics, Screaming Female and more.
With the outdoor event drawing to a halt when the sun goes down, Oya have lined up a tonne of club attractions. Oya at Night boasts the finest in dance music - electronic or otherwise - with the line up continuing to expand.
Joy Orbison is set to appear at the Norwegian event, alongside Juan Atkins, Purity Ring, Theo Parrish and more.
