Featuring Trojan Records and Mungo's Hi-Fi
An unquestionable summer highlight of last year was Clash’s debut at Outlook Festival, a festival that’s the Mecca for all things in bass culture.
We hosted a boat party with The Heatwave (pictured) who combined with RSD, DJ Rags and MC SoomT to incredible effect. From reggae to dancehall, digidubs, jungle, hardcore, garage, rave and into the current grey areas of low level hertz espousals – Outlook is the place to go to bathe in the modern legacy of Jamaican dub culture that stretches right to the UK’s modern bass scene.

And we’ll be paying homage to this continuum with a 3 hour boat party, packed to the gills with soundsystems and DJs that’ll metaphorically voyage from the 1970s reggae and dub experiments of Prince Buster and Lee Scratch Perry through the digital revolution and into the more choppy waters of UK influence via dancehall, 2-step , garage and into future bass.
Helping us helm this musical journey will be Trojan Soundsystem, Mungo’s Hi-Fi with Daddy Freddy with Clash’s own Mr Mafro plumbing the depths of the modern waters of low-end loving as we sail back to dock.
Tickets go on sale at 8pm (BST) Thursday 21st June. These boat parties sell out in minutes so if you want to get your crew aboard look lively on the decks.
Tickets are £15 for this three hour voyage into bass. For tickets go to: http://www.outlookfestival.com/boat10
