The Enemy, Lady GaGa and N Dubz...

Orange has announced the first artists set to play their Manchester Orange RockCorps gig; The Enemy, Lady GaGa and N Dubz. 3,000 volunteers can earn tickets in return for four hours work in community based charity projects in the city.

The gig takes place at the Apollo on the 13th July and is the first of a five month series of gigs exclusively for RockCorps volunteers building on last years successes.

2008 saw a grand total of 8000 young people take part in the Orange RockCorps initiative, working 20,000 hours at 55 projects, helping 44 charity partners and being rewarded with the line-up of Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, The Automatic, John Legend, Feeder, Lethal Bizzle and Guillemots who performed just for them at the Royal Albert Hall.

Orange RockCorps is an innovative scheme which aims to encourage young people to get involved in their community, giving up four hours of their time to help out in community based charity projects in exchange for great incentives such as these gigs.

The London show is scheduled for the 26th September at the Royal Albert Hall with the line up to confirmed in coming months.
