Oneohtrix Point Never and Rene Hell are to release a joint LP on September 17th.

The American underground is spewing out some fascinating electronic music. A generation of bedroom producers are twisting antique synths into new futuristic shapes, with cross-collaboration producing some fascinating results.

NNA Tapes are helping to foster this spirit, with the label lining up a new joint LP. Brooklyn's Oneohtrix Point Never and Los Angeles' Rene Hell are to pair off on a new release, which finds both artists moving in new direction.

Daniel Lopatin's Oneohtrix Point Never project contributes ‘Music For Reliquary House’ - re-imaginings from the ‘Reliquary House’ installation, which was a collaboration between Lopatin and video artist Nate Boyce.

Jeff Witscher operates under the Rene Hell guise, and has completed ‘In 1980 I Was A Blue Square’. Containing five pieces for piano, synthesizer, and computer, Rene Hell seemingly operates mid-way between modern classical music and electronic composition.

‘Music For Reliquary House / In1980 I was A Blue Square' will be released on September 17th.
