Does It Offend You, Yeah? frontman Morgan Quaintance has announced a new side project going by the snappy name of Plugs.

Information about the band is scarce just now, but tracks on the band's myspace suggest a similar synth aesthetic but with more eclectic influences. Plugs list afro-beat as an influence, and one of the photos from the site shows the group fumbling around with a stack of LPs including Big Youth's Screaming Target.

Signed to People In The Sky, Plugs will release "That Number EP" on April 14th.
