Rap group head to Britain

Odd Future have confirmed plans to play their first full headline tour of the UK with tickets going on sale shortly.

Troubled times for Odd Future. The rap collective are beginning to branch off into solo projects, with Frank Ocean recently travelling to London for a one off show at XOYO. However the band still can't escape controversy.

A festival show in New Orleans resulted in a photographer pressing charges against Left Brain, while the debate over the band's misogyny and homophobia continues to rage amongst fans and critics.

Now Odd Future have outlined plans for a rare tour of the UK and Ireland. There's not many dates - five to be exact - but the West Coast collective are packing their bags for a sustained assault on these shores.

Starting on March 28th in Birmingham, the rap collective will then play a one off show in London. Taking place at the Brixton Academy, the date will be followed by dates in Manchester and Glasgow.

Ending the tour in Ireland, Odd Future are set to play Dublin's Olympia on April 2nd. Tickets for the shows are sure to be in high demand, with the controversial band rarely travelling to the UK.

Sets at a number of summer festivals were dogged with trouble, including a shortened performance at T In The Park which was cut short by security.

Tickets for all upcoming Odd Future shows in the UK are due to go on sale this Friday (November 18th) at 9am.

Odd Future have confirmed the following shows:

28 Birmingham O2 Academy
29 London O2 Academy Brixton
31 Manchester Academy

1 Glasgow O2 ABC
2 Dublin Olympia
