A preview of Oasis' new single "The Shock Of The Lightning" has emerged online, nearly two months before the song is released on September 29th.

The song is a typical blast of energy from the Manchester legends, and is the first track to be released from forthcoming studio album (the band's seventh) titled "Dig Out Your Soul".

The clip features a compilation of the band's highpoints, and features clips of gigs at Knebworth and Wembley amongst others. Featuring some of the band's most notable tracks, the new single appears after a montage that includes "Rock N Roll Star", "Lyla" and "Stop Crying Your Heart Out".
