For one off show...
Yr Ods

Welsh promoters Nyth are bringing the best contemporary and exciting young artists in Wales to London this wekeend for a one off showcase night.

The headliners, Yr Ods, released their album 'Llithro' last month, celebrating its release with performances at Green Man and Festival Number 6. Sung in their mother-tongue of Welsh, the band's music reflects the early days of Super Furry Animals circa 'Fuzzy Logic' yet combine it with something more direct and urgent, taking cues from Britpop icons Pulp.

Radio 1 presenter Huw Stephens describes them as “a brilliant indie band from North Wales with sharpness, melodies and a natural flow that can make you blush”.

Support comes from Cardiff-based jangling guitar hero H.Hawkline, who recently recorded a live session with Marc Riley on 6Music.

Elsewhere, Bangor born Casi Wyn will play tracks from her debut EP '1' which earned her widespread acclaim on its release earlier this year. Following the live music, Nyth have organised a mixture of after-party DJ sets.

Fast-rising indie rockers Childhood will be there playing some psych / garage classics, before Basemen Buggin - who cut his teeth playing to raucous house parties in Brighton - follows.

Aside from music, Buggin is one half of the duo behind Twisted Hearts, a London/Nottingham based record label and party starting collective.
