Something strange has happened to Novella.
Once essentially an off kilter indie pop group with a post-punk twist, the band's sound has swelled, absorbing elements of Krautrock, electronics and more.
Debut album 'Land' is due to be released on May 11th via Sinderlyn, with recording sessions overseen by Jonas Verijnen (Moon Duo, Ballet School) and Joshua Third (The Horrors) in an abandoned clothing factory-turned-studio in Dalston.
New cut 'Land Gone' is online now, and it's an exciting introduction. Feeling much lengthier than its five minutes, the track is a dense array of Neu! Textures, motorik rhythms and cosmic harmonies.
Listen to it now.
