Oasis man Tackled Onstage

Oasis guitarist and all round gentleman of rock Noel Gallagher was rugby tackled to the ground onstage last night (September 7th) at Virgin 2008 in Toronto, Canada.
The band were nearing the end of classic track "What's The Story (Morning Glory)?" when a mystery assailant sprinted out from behind the amps and shoved the guitarist to the crowd. Oasis immediately ground to a halt amid chaotic scenes as the assailant was escorted from the stage by minders who seemed more concerned about protecting the man from an irate Liam Gallagher.
The band then took a few minutes to compose themselves, and to allow the baying crowd to calm down, before emerging to rapturous applause. Beginning with "The Importance Of Being Idle" Oasis then finished a great headline set, that may go someway to realizing their ambitions in North America.
The band's rise to fame saw numerous onstage barnies, but mainly with each other. Liam Gallagher has previously lobbed a tambourine at brother Noel, and original drummer Tony McCarrol suffered a torrent of abuse from other band members.
Oasis have yet to comment on the incident, but with Noel Gallagher writing an ever-acerbic blog on the official site his thoughts should make interesting reading.
