No Age Announce New Album

'An Object' due in August...

LA-based duo No Age – Randy Randall and Dean Spunt – have announced details of the band's fourth studio album.

'An Object' is scheduled for UK release on August 19th, via the ever-reliable Sub Pop label. The set was recorded by F. Bermudez and No Age themselves at Gaucho's Electronics in Los Angeles.

The group's previous album, 'Everything In Between', was a critical hit of 2010, picking up a wholly decent 8/10 review on these very pages.

The above snap of the pair confirms the tracklist of 'An Object' – assuming you can squint your eyes just right. The album runs to 11 tracks, and of the record's lyrical content, our PR man in the field writes: "Blunt challenges space, fracturing ideological forms and complacency, creating a striking new perspective that reveals thematic preoccupations with structural ruptures and temporal limits".

Which is, certainly, something.

We're certainly pretty excited to hear it. Perhaps you are, too? Why not Tweet us. It's Friday, after all.
