Nirvana remain one of the most powerful experiences rock music has ever produced.
Now eligible for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, organisers wasted no time in inviting the Seattle trio. Inducted last night (April 10th) alongside the E Street Band, Kiss, Peter Gabriel and more, two remaining members of Nirvana decided to perform live.
In place of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic decided to recruit a number of female vocalists. Joan Jett sits in for a version of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' before making way for Sonic Youth legend Kim Gordon.
St. Vincent took vocal duties on 'Lithium' before Lorde popped up to sing 'All Apologies'. Check out Instagram clips below. (via Pitchfork)
