Nils Frahm Reveals Free Album ‘Solo’

...and attempts to build the world's largest piano

Nils Frahm declared yesterday (March 29th) to be Piano Day.

A day dedicated to the piano, the composer toasted its inauguration by unveiling a free album.

'Solo' was inspired by the world's tallent piano. Performed on the Klavins M370 in the German town of Tübingen, the instrument weighs 1.8 tons, is 3.7 meters high and its longest strings are about ten feet in length.
