Daniel Avery has stepped in to remix Night Works' single 'The Eveningtime' - watch a video for the track below.

Night Works is an alter ego for Gabriel Stebbing. At one point, Stebbing was a member of Metronomy before deciding that he wanted to focus on his own music, expressing his own take on the world.

New single 'The Eveningtime' marks a departure point in his career. Launching the Night Works project, the songwriter picks apart the legacy of slick, 80s AOR and re-assembles its bones into something quite idiosyncratic.

Handed over to a number of guest producers, Night Works are preparing to unveil a series of remixes. London based beatsmith Daniel Avery is first up, re-tooling 'The Eveningtime' as a squelching, Acid friendly monster.

Unusually, the remix has been given a video all of its own. All bright lights and hedonism, there's a faint loneliness, an emptiness that can't be escaped.
