New Bob Mould Record Expected

Legend of American alternative music Bob Mould will return early next year with a new album entitled "District Line". Released through Beggars Banquet on February 11th, the album sees Mould return to the fray for the first time since 2005's "Body of Song" album.

"District Line" will feature another American punk legend, with ex-Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty teaming up with Mould. The release of a new album also gives Clashmusic.com the excuse to mention "Zen Arcade" - Husker Du's finest album and a classic of modern music. Think Beethoven going nuts to hardcore punk and you'd be close.

"District Line" is available from February 11th, 2008.
